April 30, 2010 - The three hospitals that compose Parkridge Medical Center, Inc. are pleased to announce their rebranding as Parkridge Health System.
“We are excited to announce the use of the Parkridge Health System name,” said President and CEO Darrell Moore. “We believe it will help our community better identify Parkridge Valley and Parkridge East Hospitals as a part of our family of hospitals.”

The branding change will not affect any part of the individual hospitals’ operations, as the three have operated as a system since the mid 90’s. Parkridge facilities operate with a focus on comprehensive services that are convenient and accessible.  Parkridge Valley is known as the region’s leading behavioral health provider, while Parkridge East Hospital is the acute care facility known for outstanding surgical and women’s services. Together with the comprehensive cardiology, oncology, and advanced surgical services available at the Parkridge Medical Center facility on McCallie Avenue in downtown Chattanooga, the Parkridge Health System provides complete care for area patients.

The system approach provides greater flexibility for patients when choosing a healthcare provider. Parkridge Medical Center and Parkridge East Hospital, the two medical-surgical facilities in the system, are Accredited Chest Pain Centers offering a continuum of cardiac care. Advanced imaging and robotic surgical services are available on both the Parkridge and Parkridge East campuses, while diagnostic and interventional oncology treatments are available through the Sarah Cannon Cancer Center at Parkridge Medical Center. Sharing services across campuses also provides significant staffing benefits, as the system arrangement also offers Parkridge Health System the ability to cross-train and share staff between facilities.
